Life at Prairie Pines Assisted Living Community
Prairie Pines is a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) licensed Assisted Living Facility. We accept Medicaid, Long Term Care Private Insurances, and Private Pay. We work closely with the Department of Social Services to insure our potential residents are assessed for suitability and gain any needed assistance in the process of admittance.

At Prairie Pines Assisted Living Community, we listen to the needs of our residents in order to understand their limitations and discuss potential solutions. We work with our community members to customize options that will help them lead the lives they want.

Unit A
Unit A is a modest, yet well spaced 311 square footage apartment. This unit features a closet in the main living area as well as a large window. All of our apartments are equipped with a kitchenette, and residents are provided with a microwave and refrigerator. Please click on the button below to view the floorplans.

Unit C
Unit C is our Suite floorplan with 440 square footage. This unit offers a designated bedroom and a very large walk-in closet. This walk-in closet has been used many times for a "spare" bedroom for guests, as it is ample in size to fit even a double bed quite comfortably. This unit is perfect for couples. Amenities and Services
Indoor Pool
Our indoor heated pool provides entertainment and therapeutic services. For our residents that require more assistance, staff is always available to join. Water aerobics is scheduled weekly, with members from the community joining in. Our pool is used for physical therapy with water modalities when needed or ordered for medical intervention and prevention.
Library
Our in-house library is always stocked with many different genres; from western romantics to spiritual enrichment reads. You can enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of our library as you read, or feel free to take your novel back to your apartment. We have audio books available, as well as movies for your enjoyment. Our library is equipment with an enhanced vision Acrobat computer that is designed to enlarge and enhance images in order to improve the quality of life for people who are visually impaired.
Community TV Room
Our residents enjoy relaxing in our comfortable TV room. Where they can recline and enjoy their favorite cable tv program by themselves, with other residents, or with family members and friends when they come to visit. Our TV room also has a computer that our residents may use to access the internet.
In-house Salon
Prairie Pines has a fully furnished in-house salon. Equipped with a manicure table, heated hair blowers, and salon chair with sink. Bring in your own barber or stylist, or our licensed cosmologist that visits our facility on a regular basis can take care of all your beautification needs.
